Type of Wizardry (If any): Rai utilizes a specific branch of magic called Heat Magic. He can heat up objects that are visible to him in addition to sending out waves of heat from his body. A small side effect is that his body temperature is always really high due to the nature of his magic. However he never suffers from symptoms such as heat strokes.  

Heat Star	The user heats their hands up to the point of ignition and then increases the friction between the ground to create heat. This creates an speed boost causing them to shoot forward at extremely high speeds and splashes through the target burning it. If it is a living target it simply knocks them over and burns the.
Heat Cross	The user pushes their hands out and fires a wave of heat that creates flame on its path. It's effective for clearing an exit route.
Heat Jetl	The user kicks upward creating a column of heated air that shoots the enemy into the air. Rai then leaps up and punches them back to the ground.
Heat Trapl	Rai creates a circular pit by turning the ground to magma. The opponent is now trapped in a pit with magma. Rai then causes magma to start poring in the pit.

Rai is a short athletic male. He has wild brown hair that has a point in the center that erupts into flame. He is in peak physical condition and is often working out. Rai usually wears a bored expression since he is used to defeating people in battle. He believes his victory is a certainty and treats it as such. He is therefore usually wearing a smug smirk. He usually wears a pair of black jeans with a t shirt and sneakers. He gloves are red and possess a pentagram on them. When using his magic flame erupts on his head as well as hands.

Personality: Rai has a strict belief that he can win at anything. And he will do a lot of things to win. However he won't cheat. That is the only line he won't cross. If he has an advantage somehow against you, guarantee he is going to use it. He is a very cocky and smug person outwardly but is actually very self critical. He believes that he has not reached his apex and after his time in the arena he has grown somewhat wistful and quiet. He tends to drift off into silence. He is a very perceptive person and easily sees through tricks. He is also very patient and is quick to scold impatient people.

History: Rai was born into a small and somewhat violent childhood. He was brought up in a temple in the mountains where they taught martial combat to their trainees. At the age of 5 Rai was trained for gladiatorial combat. Then he was sent on a pilgrimage to gather his own magic weapon. He found the gloves and has had them ever since. He then was sent to the arena to make a name for himself. He now makes his money fighting in the arena against various fighters and beasts. He has also participated in matches where the opponent declared a death match and he had to kill to survive. After that Rai left for another city where he joined Fairy Tail after meeting a member at one of his matches,
